Throughout Phoebe Philo's tenure at Céline, she produced season after season of covet worthy classic staple handbags for the woman's wardrobe. Now that Hedi Slimane is game changing at the brand (ie. Celine branding change), we are taking a look at which classic PP Céline bags we should be getting now before they're all gone. Dior's Saddle recently made a come-back, so who knows what will happen in a few years with her classics? Here are a few of our favorite investment pieces:
Céline Belt Bag
The Celine Belt Tote Bag was introduced for the brand's Pre-Fall 2014 Collection. It features a flap front with a belt that has knots. It has a top handle, while the flap can be tucked under the belt.
Céline Trapeze Bag
The Trapeze is another top handle bag which presents a feminine style. The bag was introduced in 2010 which features wide gussets and a flap. It has been one of Céline's most popular handbags, sadly, this bag has recently been discontinued.
Céline Box Bag
Another masterpiece from Phoebe Philo, this flap was introduced in 2011 with a minimalist design. The simple flap comes with a push tab closure and has been made available in variety of materials. These includes calfskin, python, lizard and crocodile. It is a timeless piece that is worth investing.
Céline Trio Bag
A casual crossbody bag with three pouches attached together, hence the name, Trio. The three compartments can be separated individually.
Céline Luggage Tote Bag
The Luggage Tote is definitely Celine's most popular handbag. This bag has been Phoebe Philo's first It bag for Celine and was launched for the brand's Spring 2010 Collection. Available in three sizes, Nano, Micro and Mini, the bag has become a style staple to many fashionistas.
Céline Phantom
With a similar design to the Luggage bag, the Phantom features wide wingspans and an open top closure. The bag has a braided tassel zip on the front and has a spacious interior.
Céline Cabas
The Celine Cabas has been copied by so many brands when it first came out. The spacious interior and minimalist style, made this bag the perfect everyday bag for a lot of women.
Céline Big Bag
The Big Bag is among the brand's latest designs, which was just introduced in their Winter 2017 Collection. It became an instant favourite as it features the brand's signature style, with its clean and sleek lines. The large tote comes with two top handles and a functional leather belt as a closure.
